Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At least, it’s the absolute best meal of the day. My Nana always made Sunday morning breakfasts when I was a kid. We cook breakfast a lot of Sundays when time allows. Seasoned Simple Skillet Breakfast Potatoes always make an appearance. If these were the only things on the table, Aidan would definitely be completely fine with that.

These potatoes come together so easily and quickly. With washing and dicing your potatoes, you’ll have these babies cooking in the skillet in 10 minutes or less. Best of all, one teaspoon is the measurement needed for all seven seasonings that you will be adding. This recipe could not be any more simple to follow.

Breakfast is my favorite. My all-time favorite plate is eggs over-easy, crispy bacon, sausage links, ham steak, potatoes and a grilled English muffin. This is my idea of heaven and my go-to order at any breakfast establishment.

Baked good are always phenomenal when making a big beautiful breakfast or brunch spread for your family or for company. I love to add Perfect Peanut Butter and Jelly Banana Bread or Quick and Amazing Hazelnut Nutella and Fluff Fruit Dip to the table.

Tips and Substitutions:

-Bags of frozen diced potatoes are excellent. I began a traditional about 10 years ago of making a big breakfast spread on Christmas morning. I make a large variety of breakfast items so I opt for a bag of frozen diced potatoes to save on time.

-For added flavor, add some diced onion or fresh chopped garlic.

-What can you add to anything to make it more delicious? Bacon, of course. If you want a little extra amazingness, add some raw and chopped up bacon. Throw the bacon into your skillet with the vegetable oil before the potatoes. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes until the bacon gets a little crisp and you’ve rendered a good amount of the bacon grease in the skillet. The flavor from the bacon grease adds sensational taste to this dish. Continue with the rest of the recipe per usual and enjoy.
