How To Make Easy Chicken Caesar Wraps
This recipe is going to show you How To Make Chicken Caesar Wraps in the easiest way possible. Using various shortcuts, this is a lunch that you will be able to enjoy in under 10 minutes. The freshness of the vegetables paired with the smoky crispy bacon make this wrap a lunchtime favorite.
Easy Chicken Caesar Wraps are a lunchtime hero that come together in 10 minutes or less. This is a no-cook lunch that pairs your favorite classic chicken Caesar salad with bacon and cherry tomatoes to make one delicious wrap.
Though I do love lunchtime, it can be daunting to keep lunchtime fresh. Before you know it, you’ve been eating the same bologna sandwich and chips for the last 6 months. It’s nice to keep things light for lunch. Salads and sandwiches are always my favorites so this Chicken Caesar Wrap is the perfect love child of both.
The best kinds of lunches are ones that can be easily prepped and packed ahead of time or the night before. This wrap is something easy to toss together so that you’re all set for your workday tomorrow. Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad and Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai are my favorites to bulk prep ahead of time.
I love these Chicken Caesar Wraps because of how effortless the shortcuts that I’ll show you make the preparation process. Not to mention, the wraps are absolutely delicious. They taste so fresh and Summery with the vegetables. This is definitely a wrap that you will want to make again and again. It’s convenient when you need lunch at home and you don’t have a whole lot of time. And the easy preparation makes this an excellent option when you need to throw together a quick lunch that you can take out with you in the morning.
The greatest thing about this wrap is that with all of the shortcuts to make this quickly, you’re really just assembling your wrap together. This is a completely no cooking required lunch. You can 100% cook your own chicken breast or tenderloins and you can bake some fresh bacon. But saving time for a delicious lunch is a win-win.
Time Saving Shortcuts
Microwave Bacon: This is a huge time saver. Baking bacon in the oven takes about 20 minutes. Whereas, microwave bacon is ready in under 2 minutes. Nothing tastes quite as excellent as traditional bacon, of course. But you really won’t miss it in this wrap and the microwave bacon is a great substitute.
Perdue Chicken Shortcuts: It’s right in the name. These chicken pouches are a great shortcut. They have a great variety of flavors that you can buy including honey roasted, Italian, grilled and more. Not having to cook your protein is a giant time saver. I love these chicken shortcuts when I need to get dinner on the table extra quick. These make my life easier when making Easy Chicken Broccoli Alfredo or Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna.
Bagged Salad: This is another lifesaver. Bags of salad are readily available and come in endless varieties. To save on the cutting time and washing time, prepackaged bagged romaine lettuce is a favorite for Chicken Caesar Wraps.
Substitutions
Wraps: You can use any wrap that you like for this recipe. I use a flour wrap typically. However, they have so many great varieties of wraps. You could try whole wheat, spinach, sundried tomato or a nice multigrain wrap.
Creamy Caesar Dressing: Of course, a Caesar wrap needs Caesar dressing. However, you could try different dressings or condiments if you wanted to mix things up. Or maybe you’re prepping lunch and there’s someone in the crowd that isn’t feeling the Caesar dressing. Give one of these options a try:
-Ranch
-Lite Creamy Caesar dressing
-Mayonnaise (regular, light, sriracha or sun-dried tomato)
-Italian dresssing (regular, creamy or light)
-Hummus (garlic or roasted red pepper)
-Stone ground mustard
Bacon: Though everything is better with bacon (like Potatoes Au Gratin), I know it isn’t something we can indulge in every single time. That being said, you can definitely use a turkey bacon, veggie bacon or 86 the bacon all together.
Instructions
Lay the flour tortilla wraps flat on four plates. Add 4 tablespoons (2 ounces) of creamy Caesar dressing to the middle of each flour tortilla. Leave about one inch on the left and right sides dry. Cover the Caesar dressing on the wraps with the shredded parmesan cheese.
Prepare the microwave bacon according to package instructions. Add about 2½ slices of microwave bacon to each wrap. Cover the bacon with the Perdue chicken shortcuts. Top with romaine lettuce and sliced cherry tomatoes.
To fold the wraps, grab the left and right sides and fold towards the middle. While holding the sides, take the bottom closest to you and fold it over all of the ingredients tightly. Continue to roll until fully wrapped. Slice in half. Serve with chips and enjoy!
