These decadent chocolate and peanut butter croissants are buttery and heavenly. You would never believe that these come together in under 20 minutes and with only 4 ingredients.

These chocolate and peanut butter croissants could not be any easier to make. My family is a huge fan of all things chocolate and peanut butter. (Well, chocolate only for my handsome nephew Logan). So these were a guaranteed winner.

It started with inspiration from a movie. It’s Complicated… not my croissant story but the actual movie. Where my Meryl Streep fans at?! I digress. Meryl is describing her time abroad when she lived in Europe and learned her cooking trade to the very talented Mr. Steve Martin. She is explaining this whilst making him something she refers to as chocolate croissants. I had never had a chocolate croissant but I know that I love chocolate. And I know that I love croissants. So I married the two. My mind immediately went to wrapping some canned dough around chocolate and then smothering them in chocolate and peanut butter sauces. They. Are. Amazing.

There are only four ingredients and this is the easiest dessert to throw together. It is very visually appealing and is a great show-stopping dish to serve after dinner or to bring to a party. It will look and taste like you spent all day on something that took you under 20 minutes. Seriously, in less time than it takes me to wrestle diapers and clothes on the toddler and baby and get my teen to actually do his chores, you could be indulging in this sinful treat. Make these now!

Ingredients

  • (2) 8 Ounce Cans of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • (2) 1.55 Ounce Hershey's Milk Chocolate candy bars
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 Cup Reese's Peanut Butter topping sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Unroll the canned dough and separate the 8 triangles onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Place 1½ pieces of Hershey's milk chocolate bars in the middle and roll up the dough. Pinch the ends so that none of the chocolate is exposed. Bake for 9 minutes until the crescents are golden brown.
  • Allow the crescents to cool for 2 minutes and then remove from the cookie sheet. Line up the crescents on a plate or serving dish and go back and forth with the chocolate syrup. Repeat with the the Reese's peanut butter sauce topping to cover the crescents. You will use roughly about a cup of each. However, chocolate syrup and peanut butter sauce are things that are best left to being measured by your heart. Enjoy!
